Neko Nails It On The BMX Track

Last Sunday Trek World Racing's Neko Mulally raced in the annual Iron Man Classic BMX race at Central Jersey BMX in Howell, New Jersey. This event allows Mountain Bikes to race other Mountain Bikes on the famed BMX track.

Neko rode his Trek Ticket Hardtail running the Bontrager XR1 tires, and felt his bike was a big advantage in the MTB class being much lighter than most hardtails. Despite there being a lot of faster BMX riders on their MTB's, Neko won all of his motos and won the main convincingly.

Neko said: "This is a really fun event because you get to race against other mountain bikes on the BMX track, where usually mountain bikes are at a disadvantage to BMX bikes. I won the event last year and was looking forward to getting out and racing again this year. The weather was awesome for this time of year, and I really enjoyed spending the day at the track with my friends and family."
