Trek World Racing - Team Concept

Trek World Racing is a World Cup Downhill racing team competing in both the Elite and Junior categories of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup. Trek World Racing has a total of four riders, and contests all the rounds of the UCI World Cup Series, the UCI World Championships as well as other key international events around the world.

The team was created in the latter part of 2008, and started racing in March 2009. Since then the team has won 3 World Titles, 4 World Championship Silver Medals and 1 World Championship Bronze Medal, 5 World Cup Overall Titles (including DH Team of the Year), 18 World Cup Races, and had more than 70 World Cup podiums, plus many other race wins. Trek World Racing has two professional race rigs, one based in Europe, and the other in the USA, and this gives the team a truly professional base from which to race in all events the team attends in Europe and North America.

The team also has a unique program for fans of the sport called the Local Support Crew program. Fans who live locally to the major events attended by Trek World Racing can apply to join the team for that week and get an insider's view of how the team operates and have a truly memorable experience. For more information on this, send an email through the Contact page, with the subject LOCAL SUPPORT CREW.

The team is owned and operated by 23 Degrees Sports Management, based in southern Spain, and has as title sponsor, Trek Bikes.
